Pre-F1 Sat afternoon, we were at Le Chocolate Cafe, a cosy quaint cafe in The Club Hotel at Ann Siang Hill. The cafe had limited seats -
Indoor Setting - 16 seats,
Al-Fresco Setting - 20 seats.
So on weekends be prepared to wait while for tables.
Staring at the selection of cakes (pretty decent, roughly 5-6 choices available), we had a hard time deciding & finally picked a Mango Savarin & a Chocolate Banana Dome. Friends who know me well would know that I have a child's sweet tooth but on the opposite end was the fiance who is not a fan of sweet pastries. Bubble tea, gummy candies, chocolate, cakes, just to name a few.
Once the server presented us our cakes, we dug in! Boy oh boy, do these tiny pieces of cake tantalize our taste buds! The fiance approves!
Mango Savarin - Fresh & delicious mango overwhelmed my senses, the cake was light & most importantly, not sickening sweet.
Chocolate Banana Dome - Honestly, one cannot go wrong with the combination of chocolate with banana! Every mouth of this cake was delightful, the smooth texture justifies every single cent!
